Still too much hair
October 18, 2011
“I purchased this wig a few weeks ago. It is still too long and it’s heavy. I love the hair quality and feel.I’m just just not sure about the style” After weeks of having worn it like that, she decided it needed more cutting. As wigs are quite dense, texturizing and layering really brought a great haircut. Sometimes it takes a couple visits before we achieve the perfect look. We never advise cutting too much off at first as it doesn’t grow back. Another happy girl!
Love it!

Virtual Haircut
October 2, 2011
I would like to share a recent experience I had. I am a stylist at Continental Hair and recently had to cut a wig for a client who was overseas. I had to use a surrogate to cut the wig, which was the clients sister-in-law. The interesting thing about this haircut was, as I was cutting the wig, the clients brother contacted her VIA skype using his smart phone with a video camera.
This allowed the client not only to see her hair being cut but she was able to give her input so I could cut the piece to her specifications. This was great because she was really able to be part of the process and ensure that I was doing the best job possible.
Technology is really amazing!!!

Hair On Trend
October 2, 2011
There’s no doubt about it; our wigs are an investment. A good quality human hair wig can last years, so our clients like to embrace classic looks. But classic can still be on trend – especially this year. I’m very excited about some of the hair trends that have been emerging in 2011 – they are very wig friendly.

Where’s the wig???
January 12, 2011
It’s funny here, when we do a good job, no one notices!!! (And that works for us)
We had a client in today who had her brand new postiche cut-in. Our stylist Richard gave her a beautifull cut and it matched her hair style and colour AMAZINGLY well!!! When her husband arrived to pick her up he looked at her and asked “Where’s the wig?” Of course she was wearing her postiche at the time. She smiled to Richard and told her husband “In the box” to which he replied “They did a really good job on your hair today!!” She winked at us and left with the biggest grin I have seen in a long time.
I suspect that her husband was let in on her little secret just after they left, but to us, that was the BEST compliment, he didn’t notice AT ALL!!!

Nurturing
November 11, 2010
Makes me feel good when a client leaves the salon looking and feeling great. I know I’ve done something good and that tells me I’m exactly where I belong. There’s no greater feeling than having made a client and friend turn her sad face into a confident and smiling beauty when she leaves our shop. I love what I do , who I do it with and who I do it for . The “continental experience ” is what its all about , and I have the pleasure of contributing to it. We didn’t just provide hair for our clients, we helped give back self esteem. Love it! Jacquie
