Dear Diary…A long time client came in to order a postiche wig

Dear Diary,

A long time client came in yesterday to order another pastiche. I was surprised when she opened her bag and pulled out a ‘topper’ from someone else.

“I need to have another postiche wig, Michael.” She said. “This isn’t yours.” I looked at it and said “I know.” I felt a little betrayed but it was nothing personal.

“I don’t think its real hair. I just got it because they were close by.”

“Oh, it is real hair,” I said, “Just not the type you have gotten used to.”

“Well, let’s make one up right, Michael.”

“That is what we are here for.”

And we did.
