You’ve got a new wig! …Now what?
Congratulations!
You have purchased your wig or Postiche.
So now what?
You’ve finally made the decision to move into wearing your wig or Postiche, but you are afraid. Yes, this can be a very difficult time.
You feel like you are an imposter and that it will only be a matter of time before the world knows you are wearing a wig.
What will your family, friends, and coworkers think of you suddenly having this gorgeous hair?
You know what they will say? “Did you get your hair done?”
…..
I know right!
People simply have no clue that you have been suffering through the struggle of hair loss. If they are extremely close to you, perhaps you have talked to them about it, but as we all know, most people are focused on their own journey, and maybe they simply think your hair must have gotten thicker.
Now if you have suffered a lot of hair loss and the thinning is dramatic that is a completely different situation and I suggest owning it.
Proudly announce that, if it were up to you, you wouldn’t have to wear a wig. But hey, if you are going to have to purchase beautiful hair, then shout it out, and stand your ground! All the people who truly love you and support you will be right there, right along beside you.
You may find that the strangest thing happens. In my experience of having worn my hairpieces for years now, my friends and family who have known me a long time often forget that my hair is not my own!
Many times I hear them complain about how thick their hair is and how long it takes to dry and style. Often all it takes is a raised eyebrow to elicit a slightly sheepish reaction on their part. Oh well such is life. Of course they didn’t mean anything harmful. If the worst thing that happens to me is that people state how beautiful my hair is, I smile, with a twinkle in my eye and say, “Thank you!”
Now get out there and own it ladies!
Whether you need a little or a lot, Continental Hair has got you covered.
